Performance
The New Jeep Wrangler 4xe comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine + dual electric motors that combine 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission with standard four-wheel drive.
The Wrangler 4xe is equipped with all the off-road goodies that make the Wrangler so legendary, including Dana 44 axles, front and rear locking differentials, and a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. And with its electric motors providing instant torque, you'll have even more power at your disposal when you need it most. With its impressive range of over 400 miles, you can go further than ever without worrying about running out of juice.
The Wrangler 4xe features a stiffer suspension than its gasoline-powered counterparts, thanks to its heavy battery pack. The hybrid powertrain also does not affect the Wrangler's legendary off-road capability, so you can still take it on your favorite Morristown trails confidently.
The steering feel is light but direct, making it easy to maneuver the Wrangler 4xe both on and off the road. Braking performance is excellent, with plenty of stopping power regardless of whether you're on pavement or dirt.
