The Ram 1500 Dominates the Competition
At Dover Dodge Chrysler Jeep we love our Ram trucks. They're powerful, reliable, and well-built with a craftsmanship unmatched in the pickup truck class.
But, we understand that there may be a number of pickup trucks vying for your attention. That's why we've gone ahead and put together this comparison page for you. If you find yourself torn between our Ram 1500 and Nissan's full-sized Titan pickup truck, check this out first.
We think you'll agree that, while both trucks have a lot to offer, the Ram comes out ahead in several key areas.

Ram 1500 vs. Nissan Titan
- Engine options. Both the Ram 1500 and the Nissan Titan models come with an automatic transmission standard. But, the Nissan truck doesn't give customers any choice for a lighter, less expensive engine. The Ram 1500 has a base trim with V6 engine available that's more budget-friendly than the Nissan's base trim with its sole V8 engine. You can upgrade for the base Ram, but you don't have to. The Nissan doesn't give you that option.
- Suspension. All Ram 1500 pickup trucks have something their competitors don't - Ram's unique, five-link spring-coil suspension system. This makes the Ram ride smooth and even, whether full loaded or completely empty.
